DIVINE PRAISE DANCERS

“Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.” – Exodus 15:20

The purpose of Liturgical dance, called praise dancing, is to enhance the worship experience. The scriptures tell us that it is an ancient form of worshipping God. Exodus tells us that, “Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.” (Ex 15:20)

Our dance team began shortly after the formation of the New Beginnings Sanctuary of Praise church, and has served throughout the state in worship services and events.
